Product Overview: LaHabra Fog Coat 25LB (Agate P-505)

LaHabra Fog Coat 25LB (Agate P-505) is a factory-blended, cementitious fog coat formulated for application over portland cement–based stucco. This spray-applied, pigmented coating is designed to refresh existing surfaces or even out color variations while retaining the substrate texture.

Technical Specifications

• Binder Base: White portland cement (ASTM C150 Type I) with Type-S hydrated lime (ASTM C206).
• Color: Factory-tinted to designated color (Agate P-505 shown); also supplied white.
• VOC Compliance: VOC-compliant; meets SCAQMD Rule 1113 when used with specified non‑VOC colorants.
• Container: 25 lb (11.3 kg) net weight in a multi-wall bag.
• Coverage: Approximately 800–1,000 ft² (74–93 m²) per 25 lb bag when two coats are applied (coverage varies with substrate condition and application method).
• Drying Time: Approximately 1 hour, dependent on temperature, humidity, and substrate conditions.
• Mixing Procedure: Add 25 lb bag to 2.5 gallons of cool potable water, let stand ~10 minutes, remix, divide into two 5‑gallon pails, and add 1.5–2.5 gallons water to each pail.
• Mix Yield: One bag yields about 8–10 gallons of mixed material.
• Sprayer Requirements: Minimum airless sprayer equivalent to Graco XR7; recommended reversible tip 0.015–0.019 in (supports tip sizes up to 0.017 in), flow rate ~0.31 GPM, operating pressure up to 3000 psi.
• Storage: Store off ground and protect from sun and moisture. Refer to manufacturer’s documentation for expiration/shelf-life guidance.

Material Features

LaHabra Fog Coat is produced as a spray-applied, cementitious pigment blend that cures to become part of the stucco surface. It remains water-soluble prior to drying and dries to a flat, non‑gloss finish. The coating is vapor permeable, allowing the surface to breathe.

Application Notes

For complete coverage, application in two coats is recommended. Ambient and surface temperatures must be maintained at or above 40°F (4°C) during application and drying. This product is not recommended for application over painted, sealed, or high-density smooth finishes without alternate coatings.
