Proline Ez-Tique

Proline Ez-Tique
Powdered antiquing wash that mixes with water and goes down as a liquid coat. It settles into the low areas of stamped concrete and overlays so the texture reads like real stone. One 3 lb pail covers 2,000 to 3,000 square feet. 42 standard colors, matched to the Proline Dura color chart.

Description
What it does
EZ-Tique is a cementitious antiquing powder. You mix it with water in the same 1 gallon pail it ships in, then pour or broom it across cured stamped concrete or an overlay.
The solids settle as you work. That’s the point. Color drops into the low spots of the texture and leaves the high spots lighter, which is what makes a stamped pattern read like stone.
It works on fresh texture and on weathered concrete you’re trying to bring back. Put too much on and you can rinse it off with water while it’s wet, or wipe it back with a dry sponge once it’s dry.
Mixing and application
- Open the bag of powder inside the pail and pull out the 3/4 cup scoop.
- Fill the 1 gallon pail with water.
- Mix in one full scoop of powder. More powder per gallon for stronger color, less for a lighter wash.
- Stir it with a stick. You don’t need a drill mixer.
- Pre-moisten unsealed concrete first so the color has time to even out and settle.
- Pour it on with a garden watering can. Leave a uniform coat over the area.
- Spread with a clean push broom if you need to move it around. Keep clean water handy to help it spread evenly.
- Agitate the bucket every few minutes. The solids drop fast, and that settling is what gives you the antique effect.
Colors
42 standard colors. The chart is shared with Proline’s Dura Color Hardener, Dura Antique Release, and Pro-Stain, so you can match a wash to the color hardener that’s already on the job. Proline matches custom colors at no charge.
Screens lie about color. Pull a test section on the actual slab, with the sealer you plan to use, before you commit. Cement, aggregate, water content, and cure method all move the final color.

Sealing
Let the concrete dry all the way through, then seal it. Proline’s Dura-Seal HG (high gloss) and Dura-Seal Matte are solvent-based acrylic clears made for this. Check the sealer once a year and recoat the traffic paths as they wear.
After that, normal maintenance. Sweep it, hose off dirt, clean spills when they happen, and wet mop heavy soil with a diluted commercial detergent.
